Founded in 2009, LA Business Guy is a new-age strategic consulting firm that takes a very hands-on approach to helping your business or company’s biggest challenges — with less stress and more success.

We have worked with 290+ clients in 20+ industries to date.

Surprisingly, we are based in Los Angeles (but work with a national and international slate of clients across the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia).

Joshua Hoffman is a 36-year-old, award-winning business strategist with 16 years of experience across three continents (North America, Europe, and Asia).

Joshua combines his strategic consulting experience with his own entrepreneurial ventures and an impressive roster of experts — to deliver bulletproof, easy-to-implement solutions that produce less stress and more success.

Joshua was born and raised in Los Angeles and lived in Europe and Asia for significant periods of time. Currently he resides in Los Angeles.

And don’t worry — we won’t charge you every time you blink during a meeting. We save that for the premium package.

Depending on the scope and nature of the work, we may charge:

  • Project Fees: a flat rate for clearly defined projects with specific deliverables
  • Hourly Rates: ideal for consulting or advisory sessions where flexibility is key
  • Retainer Agreements: for ongoing support and consistent access to our expertise
  • Custom Pricing: Got something unique in mind? We’re happy to create a bespoke pricing model that works for you.

If you really want the truth, most consulting firms are great when it comes to combining practical expertise with innovative thinking (and a touch of humor).
